Product Description

GH4163 High-Performance Ni-Cr-Co Alloy for Extreme Aerospace Environments

GH4163 is a high-temperature alloy based on nickel, chromium, and cobalt, engineered to perform reliably at operating temperatures of up to 850°C. This precipitation-hardened alloy combines excellent mechanical strength, oxidation resistance below 800°C, and outstanding fatigue performance in thermal cycling environments, making it well-suited for use in advanced aerospace applications.

A key advantage of GH4163 lies in its high yield and creep strength, as well as its low susceptibility to strain aging cracks—a critical factor in high-stress aviation components. The material also demonstrates good formability and weldability, allowing flexible manufacturing processes such as spot welding, seam welding, and argon arc welding. Welding should be carried out in the solution-treated state for optimal results.

GH4163 is widely applied in aeroengine combustion chambers, afterburner assemblies, flame tubes, mounting rings, sealing structures, and high-temperature fittings. The material is available in various forms including hot-rolled or cold-rolled plates, forged or hot-rolled bars, seamless cold-drawn tubes, and precision ring parts.

With reliable batch production and proven in-field performance, GH4163 continues to be a preferred material in the aerospace sector where thermal stability, mechanical durability, and weldable performance are essential.
